The guide states on slide 8 that 70% CO2/30% Nitrogen beer gas will result in a perfect v/v of CO2 of 2.5 @ T = 38F and P = 22 psig
Lets use a new 58.7 L keg (Litre) with a 1 L headspace. Assume all of the CO2 is in the beer and all of the N2 is in the HS.
The volume of CO2 in the beer is standard Litres is the 57.7 L * 2.5 v/v = 144.25 L.
The volume of N2 that had to come along with the CO2 is .3/.7 * 144.25 = 61.8 L
To have this much N2 (2.722 mols) in the head space requires a pressure (using the perfect gas law) of 5328 kPaa, 773 psia, 758 psig ( 14.5 used for atmospheric P)

This is impossible!
IF the keg is pressured to 22 psig the v/v of CO2 in beer will be about 0.32 ??
Willing to explain 😉
1 L = = 1.05669 US Quart

It suddenly won’t run cycles. Everything lights up, except for the start and stop buttons. The display/control unit seems to operate and monitor just fine.
The pumps will run, but it does nothing else when I try to start a cycle, and the buttons don’t light up.
Anyone out there use a similar unit? Any experience with problems operating it?
I have replaced both little brain units inside. No change.
Thank you
